MagicSDR makes it potential to interactively discover RF spectrum utilizing panadapter and waterfall visualization, demodulate and play AM, SSB, CW, NFM, WFM signals, gather frequencies. Built on the precept of plug-in architecture, MagicSDR - powerful and flexible next-generation SDR (software-defined radio) software. MagicSDR processes alerts which are streamed over the local network from the rtl_tcp server, which is working on the host pc.
The smartphone itself, on which MagicSDR is working, can act as a number laptop.
To begin playing with MagicSDR, you want to set up a server on a host computer to which SDR peripherals (rtl-sdr dongle) will be related or connect SDR peripherals on to a smartphone by way of a USB OTG cable. To attempt application without SDR peripherals, MagicSDR can emulate a digital radio gadget.
