With this app you can monitor one of the best before dates of the meals in your supplies.
The information is stored domestically on the smartphone and will not be synchronized with other smartphones.
The app is my private pastime venture, which is developed in my free time. It is intended for private people and never for companies.
How it works:
First, an article (once) is recorded within the article list with its details and, if relevant, a picture. You can then add the item to the inventory, choose the expiry date and enter the quantity. If the expiration date is approaching or if the date is exceeded, a warning appears in the app. For the warning before the expiration date, a quantity of days could be defined for every article.
If the EAN code is entered (or scanned) for the article, you should use Scan article to edit the stock or the article information immediately. The item information may be loaded from OpenFoodFacts.org using the EAN code.
Test database:
You can change to a check database to check or get to know the app. This already incorporates some articles (is not an commercial for the products).

This app is constantly being developed and should contain bugs.

Known issues and errors:
1. The sorting of the articles does not take the German umlauts into consideration. The SQLite database used does not assist this sorting.
2. There is no pop-up notification. The app have to be began to check whether the best-before date has passed.
